Shipping Policy

Please read before purchasing any fish

We mostly ship via FedEx Overnight. This ensures your fish arrive in the safest manner possible. We will add heat packs and insulation if needed at no extra charge. Orders typically ship 2-5 business days after being placed. When your order ships you will receive a tracking number. Orders are shipped on Monday, Tuesday, & Wednesday. Please note, we do not ship to Alaska, Hawaii, or any oversees US Military bases. Please make sure the fish you are purchasing is legal in your state. If it is not we will cancel your order and refund you. If you have any questions about your order do not hesitate to contact us by clicking here.

Airport to Airport Shipping

If your order is over $300 we will ship Airport to Airport to your nearest airport. This is typically more affordable than shipping a large parcel overnight via FedEx. Upon checkout please select “Airport to Airport” to use this shipping option. Once your order is placed you will receive an email to coordinate a flight that works for you. Once your parcel lands you can collect it at the airport and pay the shipping charge directly to the airline.

Local Pick-up

Pick-up orders are held for one week (7 days) after purchase. We are located in Queens, NY. The pick-up address will be released upon your purchase. Please note we are NOT open for public visits.


Live Arrival Guarantee

We pack our fish to survive at least 2 days outdoors in their parcel. On the off chance your fish does arrive DOA, please do the following within 2 hours of parcel arrival:

  • The parcel must be accepted in the first delivery attempt to the original delivery address

  • Take a photo of the fish in the tied bag

  • Take another photo of the fish outside the bag with the tail cut

  • Please email alikhantropical@gmail.com with the subject line stating “DOA (Order number)”. For example: DOA Order #1234

  • Once reviewed & verified you will receive a refund for your fish (shipping not included)

Once the fish is in your care it is your responsibility to properly care for your new fish. Our speciality is importing rare fish, please make sure and read up and ensure you have the right supplies and environment to keep your new fish happy and healthy. Please be aware of the risk of taking care of a live animal. Unless it is an extraordinary circumstance, please note we cannot accept any claims after the fish has been removed from its parcel.
