• Sourced Right

Our fish are all wild caught at the point of origin by local fisherman. As former exporters ourselves we understand the economic impact this has on the local communities. Because of these exporters we can consistently source such interesting fish. Additionally we believe wild caught finish retain their colors and unique features better than tank bred fish. Wild caught fish have been observed to exhibit more aggressive behavior than their tank bred counterparts. Please bear that in mind when thinking of tank-mates.

  • Kept Right

One of the few drawbacks of wild caught fish is their tendency to carry worms and other pests from their natural habitat. Once the fish are in our facility we treat them with antibiotics, flush their stomachs, and house them for at least a week. Any fish with imperfections are held until they are fully healed and ready to be shipped. Fish that are harder to acclimate such as plecos are held for at least 2 weeks.

  • Shipped Right

Once are fish are ready for transit we pack them using methods passed down from 3 generations of tropical fish importing and exporting. We know what to expect when shipping via FedEx and Airport to Airport and we prepare as such. All of our orders are packed to comfortably house fish for 2 days in outdoor conditions. Take a look at the video below to see how we pack our fish!
